The 8th and 9th of November BEST Copenhagen hosted engineering competitions in the categories Team Design and Case Study. A lot of students applied and after a selcetion round 16 lucky teams for four students each was chosen to participate in the competitions.
Team Design
This year the team design task was provided by Microsoft Development Center and was to design a game using Kudo, which is a tool developed by Microsoft. The aim of the game was to illustrate a law of nature, and in the end a number of very creative games was created.
The winning team was awarded with a Microsoft Xbox 360, and VIP passes for Studenterhuset.
Case Study
Like last year, the case study case was provided by Mærsk. The lucky winners received an iPad each, for their proposal to solve the case.
Both winning teams are now qualified to go to the Nordic engineering competition that takes place in Trondheim, Norway next year.
