On Thursday, 15th September, BEST Copenhagen organised a barbecue for all the students interested in BEST, in Villum Kann Rasmussen Kollegiet. Around 50 DTU students showed up and had a fun evening with us 🙂
It all began with some ice-breaking games, that also helped us get to know each other better. It continued with a BEST Presentation, where Rune explained what BEST is all about and talked about the our upcoming events in this semester.
Meanwhile, the cooking crew started preparing the meat and salads. To make the waiting time seems shorter, the students were split into teams of four and given the task to build a catapult (a mini team-design competition). After testing the catapults, everyone enjoyed the delicious dinner. The night continued in the VKR Bodega, with good music, some beers and interesting discussions.
We would like to thank everyone for spending the evening with us and for making it a great one. We were very happy to meet you and hope to see you again at some BEST event and why not? – as BEST members 🙂
